I was stuck in traffic so long that I started questioning my life choices.
The auto driver looked at me in the rear-view mirror and said:
“Sir, tension mat lo. Gaadi rukti hai, zindagi nahi.”
A simple line.
But it hit hard.
As we moved inch by inch, I noticed something:
-
Bikes squeezing through tiny gaps
-
Cars honking like they were in a competition
-
Pedestrians crossing like they’ve signed insurance papers already
And yet, somehow…
Everyone reaches their destination.
That’s when I realized:
Traffic is life in slow motion.
Sometimes you’ll move fast.
Sometimes you’ll be stuck.
Sometimes others will overtake you.
Sometimes you’ll overtake them.
But at the end, everyone reaches where they’re meant to.
The auto driver dropped me and said:
“Sir, life ko accelerator se nahi… patience se chalaiye.”
Best TED talk I ever got for ₹80.
