Plus:
- Plot & narrative style
- First-half (‘Seenu-Suvarna’ portion & their neat pre-interval block steals the show)
- Cinematography
Minus:
- Second-half (falls flat with lots of dragging melodramatic sequences)
- Mediocre Music & songs
- Predictable climax
The film opens with the story of Gautham (Vijay Deverakonda) and Yamini (Raashi Khanna). They live together, sleep together and eat together but seem to be stuck in a loveless relationship. While Yamini goes to work, Gautham, a struggling writer, sleeps in at home, watches cartoon network and whiles away his time. Fed up with his attitude and their relationship in general, Yamini leaves Gautham. To prove a point, Gautham starts writing again and he introduces us to the world of Seenayya (Vijay Deverakonda), Suvarna (Aishwarya Rajesh) and Smitha (Catherine Tresa).
Apart from Vijay’s brilliant execution of the Telangana dialect, nothing really stands out in the first half. There’s more frustration (on-screen as well as for the viewers) than any element that entertains you.
