Some days in life are heavy, some are dry, and some are spicy enough to burn your tongue.
But most days?
They’re like a vada pav — simple, ordinary, but hiding a surprise inside.
It was a regular Monday morning. I was standing outside a small stall, waiting for my vada pav, already irritated at life, deadlines, messages, expectations… basically everything.
The vendor handed me the vada pav and smiled, “Bhaiya, garam hai… sambhalke.”
I don’t know why, but the sentence hit me harder than any motivational quote on Instagram.
Life bhi garam hi hoti hai…
Bas sambhalke chalna padta hai.
As I took the first bite, the chutney inside exploded with spice — so unexpected that I coughed.
And in that moment I thought:
“Isn’t this exactly what life does?”
We expect comfort.
Life gives spice.
We expect sweetness.
Life adds chili powder.
We expect stability.
Life throws extra masala.
But here’s the best part —
Even with all its surprises, we still go back to it…
Just like we go back to vada pav.
Because the truth is simple:
Life is not perfect.
But it’s enjoyable, filling, and meaningful…
Only if you take a big bite and stop overthinking.
That day, a humble vada pav taught me what books and speeches never could.
