BFFs of Sandalwood Vishnu & Ambi This Friendship Day

Vishnuvardhan and Ambareesh are best friends in Kannada Industry and they are made lots of films together, Ambi and Vishnu are the best friends forever. Today, August 4, 2019, is celebrated as Friendship Day. This month’s first Sunday is dedicated to the people you meet along the journey of life, who eventually become a family.

Similar to commoners, the film industry has also experienced some of the most lovely interactions that have been setting significant goals of friendship for years now! One of Sandalwood’s BFFs was Vishnuvardhan and Ambareesh.

The connection between these two legendary performers expanded beyond their professional life. Although they are no longer with us, their values as performers and friends continue to inspire many.

1. Naagarahaavu

Puttanna Kanagal’s Naagarahaavu is regarded as one of the best films in Sandalwood’s history. It was the first film by Dr. Vishnuvardhan as the lead and featured Rebel Star Amabreesh as the antagonist. It was after Naagarahaavu that Ambi and Vishnu rose to fame and their friendship bloomed through the film.

2.Diggajaru

Diggajaru, directed by D Rajendra Babu, is a blockbuster from 2001. The film features in the lead Vishnuvardhan and Amabreesh, a remake of Tamil film Natpukkagu. This is also the last film that Vishnu and Ambi featured in.

3.Habba

Habba is the family drama of Sandalwood that was released in 1999. Written and directed by D Rajendra Babu, the film features several actors including Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Devaraj, and others. Fans had to witness the Rebel Star and on-screen celebrate their relationship with Sahasasimha.

4.Senhitara Savaal

It feels like the 1981 Kannada movie Snehithara Savaal was particularly created to honor the friendship of Vishnuvardhan and Ambareesh. The tale revolves around two best friends who get separated at a young age but come together in the later years to battle the evil.

5.Avala Hejje

Avala Hejje is another known Sandalwood film. It stars in the lead Vishnuvardhan, Amabreesh, and Lakshmi. The film shows Ambi and Vishnu as long-lost siblings who come together after an unfortunate case. This duo has already been acknowledged in the sector and outside for their relationship.
