Prajwal Revanna is a son of Revanna and they are from Deve Gowda Family. He is an Indian Youth Politician and he is from Janata Dala(Secular), His father H. D Revanna is a member of legislative assembly in Karnataka. Prajwal Revanna will contest against Congress rebel A Manju who joined the BJP recently. Manju contested and lost against Deve Gowda in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and is considered close to Siddaramaiah.
