Kangana Ranaut Twitter Account Suspended Permanently

Twitter permanently bans Kangana Rauaut’s account after she tweeted about the post-poll violence in bengal and tweeted with a video what is appeared like a hateful or a violent statement.

The suspension of Twitter account came after Kangana Ranaut puts out a video demanding President’s rule in West Bengal. After suspension she took to Instagram to say that her twitter account had been suspended after posting the video on Tuesday morning.
Earlier, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel’s Twitter account was also suspended for violating the regulations of the platform. Kangana’s account was also restricted for a few hours earlier this year after the actor’s incendiary tweets against the web series Tandav. The tweet was deleted later.
Ranaut has courted controversy on several occasions since her debut on Twitter last year. In January, Twitter put her account in red mode only,for two tweets that allegedly incited violence. At the time, many Twitter users had called for her account to be suspended, accusing her of hate-mongering.

And also Twitter removed some of the tweets after she got into a spat with pop singer Rihanna over the farmers’ protests across India. The company had also suspended the account of Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel for hate speech in April last year.

And Kangana Ranaut claimed that twitter’s moves shows an alleged race bias, and Twitter has only proved my point they’re Americans and by birth a white person feels entitled to enslave a brown person,they want to tell you what you think,speak or do. I have many platforms which i can use to raise my voice,including my own art in the form of cinema.

And also Kangana stated that “my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved, and censored for thousands of years, and still, there is no end to the suffering.”
Twitter spokesperson said in a statement. We enforce the Twitter Rules judiciously and impartially for everyone on our service.According to Twitter’s abusive behaviour policy, users “may not engage in the targeted harassment of someone, or incite other people to do so”. Twitter considers abusive behavior “an attempt to harass, intimidate, or silence someone else’s voice”.
